Tormund was once celebrated as a hero, a firefighter who bravely charged into flames to save lives. But beneath the praise lay a dark obsession that would one day consume him. When an arson fire engulfed several neighbourhoods a decade ago, the truth emerged—Tormund didn't just fight fires, he was captivated by them.
From childhood, Tormund was drawn to flames. With few playmates and often absent parents, he spent his time setting fires in his yard, burning anything from leaves to old books, even small animals. He reveled in the smell, the crackle, and the searing heat. To him, fire was more than destruction—it was pure joy and freedom.
Tormund's obsession with fire only deepened as he grew older. As a firefighter, he was always the first on the scene, never missing a shift. But during one mission, an explosion left his team presumed dead—until Tormund emerged alone, unharmed. Suspicion followed, but the fire had destroyed all evidence, and his hero status remained untarnished.
Tormund was officially put on leave after the explosion, but in reality, his movements were closely monitored. No longer able to fight fires, Tormund's obsession took a darker turn. He set an unprecedented blaze that earned him the name Hellfire and a one-way ticket to an isolated prison. But to Tormund, it was a paradise where he could freely indulge his love for fire.
