Samir Al-Hadilo, also known as the Black Scorpion, is the most dangerous mercenary active on the borders of the Isle of the Banished. He hunts like a desert scorpion—patient, precise, and ruthless. He can traverse the entire desert to track a fugitive, surviving only on morning dew. He navigates through barrages of bullets as if death itself fears to fall upon him.
Samir wields a pair of short blades and a modified rocket launcher. The blades, forged from alloy, emit a scorpion-like hiss when swung, while the rocket launcher fires custom incendiary rounds that unleash a blazing glass-sand inferno on impact, trapping enemies and slowly roasting them alive. Samir never uses firearms in close combat. Some say he can deflect bullets with his blades; others swear they've seen him walk unscathed through the flames of an exploding rocket.
When the blazing sun sets and moonlight bathes the dunes, Samir grows even more ruthless, a transformation so profound it surprises even him. As the night deepens, his darker persona has claimed countless bounties and earned him the infamous name, the Black Scorpion.
Recently, a black market bounty has demanded his capture alive, not his death. No one knows who posted it or why, but every hunter who has taken the job has yet to return. Meanwhile, Samir roams the sands, leaving scorched scorpion marks in the oases he passes, as if counting down to something...
