Story

Story I

This criminal couple—Taehun and Minyeon—met during a black market arms deal. A sudden police raid forced them to cooperate, crafting homemade bombs to escape. After their ordeal, they discovered a shared philosophy: to plunder the most targets in the most flamboyant manner. Thus, Flameborne was born: invisible as the wind, fierce as flames.

Story II 🔒 1★

Their heists are bold and dramatic, with each case gaining notoriety and leaving the police at a loss. Some even paint them as rebellious icons. However, Taehun relentlessly chases bigger rewards, while Minyeon is addicted to the thrill of explosions, causing their actions to spiral out of control.

Story III 🔒 2★

While planning to hijack a batch of smuggled diamonds, Minyeon insisted on using excessive explosives to create a "fireworks effect." Despite Taehun's prior warnings, he chose to compromise. Ultimately, the explosive's power was miscalculated, leading to the collapse of the entire building and even affecting adjacent residential areas. Public opinion was in an uproar, and the police mobilized entirely. During their escape, the two separated due to a disagreement and were subsequently apprehended. To prevent them from collaborating, the authorities placed Taehun and Minyeon in prisons located at opposite ends of Isle of the Banished.

Story IV 🔒 3★

Yet fate could not keep them apart. The couple upheld a promise made years ago, escaping the prison with their skills and reuniting after many years. This lesson cost them permanent sacrifices: Taehun suffered severe vision loss and lost an arm, while Minyeon was left with only one leg. However, they learned and matured through the experience. Despite their physical limitations, the reunited Flameborne gained an indelible, perfect synergy forged through their shared pain.
