Silver-white hair flowed like moonlight through the dark alleys, and her pale skin gleamed with a luster under the neon lights—Whisper, known as the "White Reaper," is a mysterious hunter that prowls the shadows of the city. Unlike ordinary assassins, her modified compound crossbow never carries lethal arrows but is loaded with colorful glass vial bolts. Each vial contains a chilling, fearsome effect: some soften their target’s bones, others trigger mass hallucinations, and a few can even cause electronic systems to crash in an instant.
Becoming Whisper's prey is arguably the most terrifying thing in the world. What’s even more frightening is that no one can figure out Whisper's true stance or know when she might suddenly aim her crossbow at them. The government has repeatedly warned her not to treat bounty hunting as a form of entertainment, nor to torture her targets before delivering them to the authorities. But Whisper pays no heed. Their warnings fall on deaf ears.
Gradually, the government's tolerance reached its limit. They fabricated several charges from obscure laws to restrain Whisper. Whisper received the news in advance, quickly made her escape to the Isle of the Banished, and left a farewell gift by wreaking havoc on the entire city's security system before her departure.
It took the police several months to shake off the aftermath of this riot. "What this world needs isn't more rules..." On every surveillance screen, she loaded a newly concocted potion into her crossbow, giving a coquettish smile to the camera, "but a complete frenzy." Meanwhile, she was already sowing seeds of terror in the hearts of the people on the Isle of the Banished.
