Story I
Rex was once the most expensive consultant in the security industry. Tycoons hired him to infiltrate their vaults and expose weaknesses in their security systems. He never stole his clients' money, but he always took something they hadn't asked him to: their secrets. After every job, his private server gained another encrypted file. He called it his pension, not for spending, but for survival.
Story II 🔒 1★
The Klein Group was the last client of his career. Klein hired Rex to test a prototype spatial-folding device, a machine capable of instantly transporting objects across dozens of meters. During the test, he bypassed several security protocols and accessed a database he was never meant to see. The screen contained no vault coordinates and no weapons inventories. Just a list of names. Each one was marked either 'Eliminated' or 'Pending Elimination'. Rex was no hero, but he understood one thing: when a company starts killing people, those who know its secrets are usually next. He never filed his report. Instead, he stole the prototype.
Story III 🔒 2★
Klein's pursuit came faster than Rex had imagined. While on the run, he activated the prototype at full power, teleporting himself from the lobby of Klein's headquarters to the desert of the Isle of the Banished. Upon landing, the prototype overloaded and exploded, nearly burying him and the secret forever in the sand and stone.
Story IV 🔒 3★
The Prison Management Bureau found and revived Rex, offering him an offer he couldn't refuse: they would help hide his whereabouts, and in return, he would do things the Bureau couldn't conveniently do. Capture, infiltrate, extract someone from a completely sealed cell. Rex never signed contracts. He only left one message after each job: 'Remember, you owe me once more.'
